If you haven't heard, the 2015 NFL season begins tonight in Foxborough, when the New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers. That means that Daily Fantasy Football is here! Don't even think about making a DraftKings, FanDuel, FantasyAces or a Yahoo DFS lineup without the Lineup Optimizer via FantasyCruncher.com.
Fantasy Cruncher doesn’t remove the fun of creating your lineup, it speeds up the process to create the most optimal lineup. How many lineups could you create in ten minutes? One? Five? Ten? Fantasy Cruncher can create 50 totally unique lineups in under one minute. Create more lineups, save more time.
For our optimizer to work, you need projections. Luckily we supply those for you in the form of our expert daily fantasy projections, created by our very own pool of professional players. Each sport (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) has player projections created by one of our experts. This gives you an excellent base to create your lineups from.
Week 1 DFS Advice
Using the Fantasy Cruncher lineup optimizer, we created 100 lineups. Except this time, we removed all of the players we believe will be owned by a majority of DFS players, guys like Matt Ryan, Tyrod Taylor, Eddie Lacy, Jeremy Hill, Doug Martin, Jordan Matthews, Davante Adams, Eddie Royal and Delanie Walker. We also removed some of the very expensive players like Aaron Rodgers, Jamaal Charles and Julio Jones. What we were let with were players who would be affordable, are projected to produce solid point totals and may be that one guy you own that makes your roster just unique enough to take home the top prize!
DeMarco Murray, Justin Forsett, Jarvis Landry and Greg Olsen were selected in nearly 100% of lineups.
Ryan Tannehill was the top QB at 81%. So if you don't take (Matt) Ryan, Taylor or Sam Bradford, Tannehill is your guy.
Andre Johnson (71%) and Lamar Miller (55%) were the only other players to find themselves in 50% of lineups. Allen Robinson (49%) was the only other in more than 25% of lineups. These guys could all be solid FLEX plays.
I was very surprised to see Chris Ivory in just 18% of lineups.
