The Indianapolis Colts lost their season opener today in Buffalo against the Bills, and also lost WR T.Y. Hilton to a knee injury. X-Rays came back negative, but reports are that Hilton could miss a few games. Hilton led the Colts with 14 targets, 7 receptions and 88 yards. Andrew Luck completed touchdown passes to Donte Moncrief and Dwayne Allen.
Andre Johnson's Colts debut was not great, catching 4 of his 9 targets for 24 yards.
Frank Gore also left this game early, but did return.
The Bills picked off Andrew Luck twice, in a dominating win.
Fantasy football owners won't necessarily have to play the waiver wire, if you drafted correctly. You should have a solid WR on your bench that you were prepared to start for situations just like this. If for some reason you do in fact need to add a receiver, place a waiver claim on the following receivers:
- James Jones - Packers
- Tavon Austin - Rams
- Percy Harvin - Bills
- Donte Moncrief - Colts
- Tyler Lockett - Seahawks
Irsay: X-ray on TY Hilton's knee was negative, just a bad bruise. Likely still out a few weeks.— Zak Keefer (@zkeefer) September 13, 2015
