For our optimizer to work, you need projections. Luckily we supply those for you in the form of our expert daily fantasy projections, created by our very own pool of professional players. Each sport (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) has player projections created by one of our experts. This gives you an excellent base to create your lineups from.

10/29 NBA DFS Advice

With just three NBA on the schedule tonight, it's important to do you homework before submitting your roster(s).  Fantasy Cruncher thinks Chris Paul, George Hill, C.J. Miles and Paul Millsap will be the popular picks tonight.  When you remove them from the player pool, Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony become the most popular players.

Melo is coming off a terrible game, but the Knicks still managed to beat the Bucks by 25 points thanks to Derrick Williams looking like a #2 overall draft pick.  I would avoid Melo as New York did a great job playing team basketball and did not force the offense through Carmelo.

Do not go chasing Sasha Vujacic tonight - he filled the stat sheet with 11 points 6 rebounds 4 steals and 3 assists but I would much rather play Langston Galloway.

I would avoid Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill against the Memphis Grizzlies bigs but I love Zach Randolph in this one.  Save the $1,300 and take ZBo over Marc Gasol.

With such limited options at the C position, you almost have to add DeAndre Jordan to your roster.  Plus, he gets to show the Dallas Mavericks what they could have had if Jordan did indeed sign.

NFL Week 8 DFS Advice

Using the Fantasy Cruncher lineup optimizer, we created 100 lineups.  Except this time, we removed all of the players we believe will be owned by a majority of DFS players, guys like Philip Rivers, Todd Gurley, Keenan Allen and Stefon Diggs.

Todd Gurley has become a lock at the RB position and Mark Ingram is a solid play in Week 8.  The Giants just allowed Darren McFadden to rush for 150+ yards and a score!  In the last three weeks the Giants have allowed McFadden, DeMarco Murray and Carlos Hyde to rush for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns.

As much as I love the Oakland Raiders offense, I would avoid Derek Carr, Latavius Murray, Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree against the New York Jets.  Tom Brady is the only QB to throw for more than 250 yards, Ryan Mathews (108) is lone RB with more than 57 rushing yards and Danny Amendola, Donte Moncrief and Jordan Matthews are the only receivers with more than 5 receptions.  Moncrief is the only one to break 100 yards.

However, the Raiders secondary has allowed 88 receptions for 1102 yards to opposing WRs in just six games.  They have seen just two WR TDs but Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are solid plays this week.

We don't usually talk about Defense/Special Teams, but Rams vs 49ers is just too good to ignore.
