The Duke Blue Devils continue to get better and better. One of the nation's top players, Harry Giles, has committed to Duke University over Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest.

As mentioned in a blog post a week ago, I am a recent transplant to the North Carolina Triangle area and am committing myself to local sports news, which means Duke and UNC.

Giles is sitting out his senior year with a Torn ACL suffered on Tuesday night.  Can Giles recover and give Duke a full season next year?  Or does he go the Kyrie Irving route and just use Duke to get into the NBA Draft?

Giles joins Team USA teammate Jayson Tatum, Frank Jackson and Javin DeLaurier as members of the Duke 2016 recruiting class.

Giles is a 6-10, 220-pound power forward with the ballhandling and shooting ability to operate as 21st-century “stretch-4” – meaning he can attack the goal like a guard or small forward while still rebounding, blocking shots and scoring in the post.
