It's all set. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will face Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.  Super Bowl 50 will kickoff at 6:30pm EST, in Santa Clara, California at Levi Stadium on Sunday, February 7 on CBS.

Manning and the Broncos defense beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 20-18. It was a classic Manning performance, finding his TE, Owen Daniels, twice on TD passes. Stephen Gostkowski missed an early extra point which forced the Patriots to attempt a two point conversion with just seconds left in the game. Brady's pass was tipped and intercepted. Denver would recover the onside kick.

Newton and the Panthers had a much easier day at the office, beating Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals 49-15! Luke Kuechly led the Panthers defense, which forced six turnovers. Kuechly added a late pick six of Palmer, one of his four interceptions. Special teams recovered a Patrick Peterson muffed punt as well.

On offense, Newton ran for two scores and completed touchdown passes to Corey Brown and Devin Funchess. Brown and Greg Olsen each went for 100+ receiving yards. Tedd Ginn added a beautiful TD run for Carolina on an end around.

This is a great matchup for the NFL and fans. Manning vs Newton is great for the media, is this Manning's last game, both teams can put up points (but not the Broncos as of late) and both teams have great defenses. This should be an exciting game, but we all thought the Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl in 2014 was going to be as well.
