Last off-season the Miami Dolphins made a splash by signing top prized free agent Ndamukong Suh and they have followed that up by signing free agent Mario Williams.
Although both players are coming off of disappointing seasons, combining the two of them on the same defensive line could be a nightmare for opposing teams.
In 10 NFL seasons, Williams has recorded 96 sacks and forced 16 fumbles. Those 96 sacks are good for 7th among active players.
This type of move will either result in the Dolphins releasing veteran Cameron Wake ($9.8 million against the cap) or rescind Olivier Vernon's transition tag.
