On the same night that Astros announce the promotion of Alex Bregman, the Colorado Rockies shocked the world and called up David Dahl.

Dahl will start in the outfield until Gerardo Parra returns and at this point, you have to assume the Rockies will trade one of Carlos Gonzalez/Charlie Blackmon at the deadline.  Dahl deserves to play everyday and Parra would be a very expensive fourth outfielder.

The Rockies drafted Dahl 10th in the 2012 MLB Draft - Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton were the top two picks.  Dahl has been a top 100 prospect since the day he was drafted.

In 16 AAA games, Dahl slugged .887 with 6 doubles, 5 home runs and 2 triples.  His 30 hits led to a .484 BA.  All of this comes after 21 doubles and 13 home runs in 288 Double-A ABs.  On top of all those extra base hits, Dahl has added 17 stolen bases!
