The Utah Jazz continue to add veteran players to their roster, this time signing Joe Johnson to come off the bench. The Jazz traded the 12th pick in the NBA Draft to acquire PG George Hill from the Indiana Pacers. Johnson will make $22 mil over two years.
Johnson provide scoring off the bench, as Rodney Hood has solidified himself as the starting SG for the Jazz.
Now 35 years old, Johnson found his shooting stroke again in the second half of last season, after being traded to the Miami Heat. He averaged 13.4 points per game on 51% shooting (41% 3pt) in 24 games.
