The Minnesota Vikings improved to 2-0, beating the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, but may have lost RB Adrian Peterson for a handful of game.
The Vikings have struggled to run the football in 2016, with just 95 yards over their two games. Only the Chicago Bears have rushed for less and the play tonight on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. Peterson has averaged 1.6 yards per carry, on 31 attempts.
AP was seen on crutches after the game. Matt Asiata took most of the carries on Sunday Night, but expect Jerick McKinnon to get his fair share of touches if Peterson misses multiple games. They each saw 12 snaps.
There were plenty of injuries suffered by running backs in Week 2. Doug Martin, Thomas Rawls, Danny Woodhead, Ameer Abdullah, Jonathan Stewart, Spencer Ware & Arian Foster all left their games.
The Vikings have won their first two games with stellar defense and Stefon Diggs. Sam Bradford looked good in his debut with Minnesota.
