If you haven't heard, the 2016 NFL season begins on September 8th in Denver, when the Broncos host the Panthers. We all remember what happened last time these two met - in the Super Bowl. Best to just avoid the Panthers in Week 1 DFS. Don't even think about making a DraftKings DFS lineup without the Lineup Optimizer via FantasyCruncher.com.
Expert ProjectionsFor our optimizer to work, you need projections. Luckily we supply those for you in the form of our expert daily fantasy projections, created by our very own pool of professional players. Each sport (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) has player projections created by one of our experts. This gives you an excellent base to create your lineups from.
Week 1 DFS AdviceUsing the Fantasy Cruncher lineup optimizer, we created 100 lineups. Except this time, we removed all of the players we believe will be owned by a majority of DFS players, guys like Blake Bortles, Todd Gurley, Lamar Miller, Allen Robinson, Brandin Cooks and Jordan Reed. We also removed some of the very expensive players like Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, Julio Jones and Rob Gronkowski.
What we were let with were players who would be affordable, are projected to produce solid point totals and may be that one guy you own that makes your roster just unique enough to take home the top prize!
Doug Martin and Mike Evans were found in a whole bunch of lineups, together. The Bucs play on the road against the Falcons. Martin rushed for 166 yards in their two matchups last year, scoring a rushing TD. Evans, who ended up in 100% of our lineups, didn't have as much success, catching 8 of his 16 targets for 109 yards and also scored once.
Mark Ingram was another popular RB, against a Raiders run defense that isn't great. This game has a over/under of 51.5 points. It would be wise to grab a player or two from this one!
The Lions and Colts also have a 51.5 o/u, making Marvin Jones a great option. At $4.6k, he is a great value play.
Dak Prescott will be a popular play, but at that $5.0k price tag, it's hard to ignore him. That's cheaper than Trevor Siemian!
Fantasy Cruncher placed Delanie Walker (60%) or Greg Olsen (40%) in all of our lineups.
We're confident that once you try Fantasy Cruncher, you won't want to go back to the old way of creating lineups for your daily fantasy sports games.
