That was a short absence: The #Ravens are re-signing RB Justin Forsett, a surprise cut on Saturday.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 5, 2016
Original Post 9/3The NFL rosters have to be trimmed down to 53 players and the Baltimore Ravens have cut RB Justin Forsett. Forsett was a top 100 player in fantasy football, according to Fantasy Football Calculator ADP. The Ravens will turn to a running back by committee, featuring Terrance West, Javorius Allen and rookie Kenneth Dixon.
It is unclear at this point if one back will see a bulk of the work, but advantage West for now.
Forsett caught 75 passes out of the backfield the past two seasons, in 26 games. One of the Ravens back will be a valuable PPR player.
Forsett will almost certainly be added by a team that lacks depth at RB, someone like the Colts or even the Patriots. If you drafted him, do not drop him.
The Broncos cut Mark Sanchez and Ronnie Hillman. Sanchez has already signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Looks like rookie Devontae Booker will see a handful of carries while CJ Anderson's fantasy stock rises.
