What is RotoDerby?!
Team QBTom Brady will be under center for four of the Patriots next five games, should he avoid the Pats QB curse. However, Julian Edelman might be the QB in week 4 against the Bills. At 39 touchdowns, this seems like to risky a play and with Brady only getting four games, you might as well start any QB that has a bye.
Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford have lead their team to the top of RotoDerby rankings at the QB position. Ryan will only cost your 21 TDs while the Lions QBs tossed 34 touchdowns in 2015, bumping their salary.
You can pair either QB with Andrew Luck as the Colts dealt with injuries at the position last year, limiting their TD cap to just 26.
If you want to focus more on matchups, none of those QBs get to play the Raiders or Saints. However, Philip Rivers plays both of those defenses in October, but also faces the Broncos twice.
Running BacksC.J. Anderson will cost the 5 TD minimum, gets five games, and two games against the Chargers. There are also matchups against the Buccaneers and Falcons mixed in.
DeMarco Murray has looked good early on and the Titans will get matchups with the Dolphins and Colts.
Care to be brave? For 13 TDs you can roster Jamaal Charles and Chris Ivory, who both get to play two of the worst run defenses in the NFL over the next five weeks. Charles gets the Raiders and Saints on back to back weeks out of the Chiefs week 5 bye. Ivory gets the Bears and Raiders out of the Jaguars week 5 bye.
Wide ReceiversA.J. Green will cost you 10 touchdowns, but he has three great matchups against the Dolphins, Browns and Redskins, all at home.
You can pair up Rivers with Travis Benjamin, who is now his #1 target in San Diego. The Chargers get two premium matchups with the Saints and Raiders to start the month of October which can set you up for some RotoDerby money! But remember, two games against the Broncos.
Allen Robinson could have a huge month, despite a week 5 bye. The Jaguars get the Colts and Raiders at home and play the Bears and Titans on the road.
Tight EndsIf Antonio Gates was healthy, I would suggest stacking the Chargers, but I would rather get something out of my TE if Gates continues to miss games.
The Bears are not good, but Zach Miller can be for your roster. Brian Hoyer look to Miller often and completed 8 of hi 9 targets for 78 yards and two touchdown against the Cowboys. Chicago gets the Lions, Colts, Jaguars and Packers before a week 8 matchup with the Vikings. Lots of garbage time production for Miller.
You can mix in some players at the FLEX that are only playing four games in October.
