The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson to a 3-year, $35 million deal. This is a great move for Jackson, Jameis Winston and Mike Evans.
Jackson brings speed to the Bucs, which they desperately need. Winston has a huge arm, and he'll now get to show it off as he throws deep passes to Jackson each week.
Despite being 30, Jackson went over the 1,000 yard mark last season playing in Washington, and had 5 games of 100+ yards. Getting a player like Jackson will take some pressure off of Evans, as he won't have to make literally every single play for this team.
Last season Mike Evans was the only real weapon for Winston, as he posted a monster stat line of 96 receptions, 1321 yards and 12 touchdowns on a league high 175 targets.
