Fantasy Football Week 4 Waiver Wire

The waiver wire has seen better weeks. There just weren't many breakout performances this week and not too many people I see having sustained success. So, what I'm saying is don't break the bank for any of these guys. However, there are signs of life from a few guys and you can add them before they break out. Nonetheless, here are the waiver wire adds for this week. (All players owned in under 40% of Yahoo! leagues.)

Evan Engram (39% owned) - Engram is right on the line here, as he deserves to be. He sits at TE7 right now in PPR leagues and has a carved out role, catching at least 4 balls for at least 40 yards in all 3 NFL games of his career. This week, he's up against an extremely injured Tampa Bay defense. Engram should be top-15 weekly, and brings solid TD upside to push him into the top-8 per game.

Jamaal Charles (36% owned) - Though C.J. Anderson isn't going anywhere, Jamaal Charles has seen increased usage in all games so far and outplayed CJ in Sunday's loss to Buffalo. He's suffered some gruesome injuries, but for the meantime, is looking healthy. He gets Oakland at home this week and has carries FLEX consideration in deeper leagues.

D'Onta Foreman (17% owned) - Lamar Miller in Houston just does not work. He had another laughable game Sunday, rushing for just 56 yards. D'Onta Foreman, Miller's backup, looked pretty sharp. He's been seeing more and more touches, seeing the ball 10 times and totaling 90 yards. He's pushing Miller into a committee, and he's a high upside bench stash in the event that Miller goes down.

Deshaun Watson (15% owned) - We'll go with another Texans rookie here, although the majority of you already know who this is. Remember the Clemson QB, Deshaun Watson? That guy just hung with Tom Brady! Watson's already one of the best duel threat QB's in the league and he racks up points extremely quickly because of this. Watson is my QB stream of the week against a Tennessee defense that just let Russell Wilson throw for almost 400 yards.

Wendell Smallwood (8% owned) - Smallwood probably played the best game of his career on Sunday, playing 43 snaps and rushing for over 6 yards per carry. Darren Sproles is out for the season with a broken arm and a torn ACL, which happened on the same play (!). Smallwood looks like the guy who will replace him and he should see a good amount of catches, making him a solid PPR add.

Josh Doctson (6% owned) - Josh Doctson is happening, for real this time. He bullied the Raider secondary Sunday night for a 52-yard touchdown grab. Doctson has been on the field for an increasing amount of snaps every game, eclipsing 50% on Sunday night,  and has HUGE upside. Terrelle Pryor looks sluggish and lazy, so Doctson could see big time targets soon. Don't be surprised if he hangs 100 yards and a pair of scores soon.
Atlanta D/ST (30% owned) - Atlanta plays Buffalo this week, and Buffalo's not a terrible offense but at the same time doesn't put a lot of points on the board. We saw what Atlanta was capable of Week 2 against Green Bay, and Tyrod Taylor has been a turnover-prone QB in his couple years as a starter so Atlanta could definitely take advantage of this with a huge week.
