NFL DFS Thanksgiving Day - Quarterbacks

It will be interesting to see how Kirk Cousins and the Redskins offense operate without Chris Thompson.  He has been a huge part of Cousins success this year, with a league leading 483 yards after catch.  I am not sure I want to pay top dollar for a QB who just lost his favorite weapon.

You can forget about playing Dak Prescott.  He is just not the same without the threat of Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.  If Tyron Smith doesn't play, that will make things even more difficult for Dak.  Also, Tom Brady is the only QB to throw for more than 273 yards against the Chargers.

I think Philip Rivers and Matthew Stafford will be the top owned QBs and if I had to pick one, it would be Rivers.  I am a fan of the Vikings defense and think they could limit the Lions, as they did in their week 4 matchup.  The Cowboys on the other hand are an average team without Elliott to keep the clock moving and their defense off the field.   Rivers hasn't thrown for 300 yards since week 4, but he has the most weapons available in Keenan Allen, Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler, Tyrell Williams, Travis Benjamin and Hunter Henry.

As much as I like the Vikings defense, I also respect the Lions defense.  Case Keenum has been better than we ever could have imagined, considering the Vikings are without Dalvin Cook and Stefon Diggs hasn't been 100% healthy all year.  It's hard to argue not playing him at his price, but I would rather play Rivers and pair him with Allen than Keenum/Adam Thielen.

If Sterling Shepard plays, Eli Manning could prove to be a nice value play at just $5.1k.  However, he has yet to score 20 fantasy points without Odell Beckham.  He is going to throw the ball 30 times, but play Eli at your own risk!
