Team with Great Matchups-
Yankees - @ Blue Jays @ Orioles - The Yankees will make a short two game trip up to Canada to face the Blue Jays starting Tuesday where AJ Burnett (3-0) will take the mound against rookie Kyle Drabek (1-0) in the opener.  The Yankees are coming off a series win against the Rangers as they took 2 of 3 at home, and the Blue Jays are coming off 3 straight loses against the Red Sox in which they were outscored 21-3 in those three games.  Kyle Drabek has walked 11 batters in 18.2 innings and he's going to have to be careful about walks when facing this Yankees lineup who are extremely patient and make pitchers pay for walking guys.  Even if Alex Rodriguez can't go with his strained oblique, back up Eric Chavez is hitting .467 in limited time.  This could be an easy two game sweep for the Yanks before heading to Baltimore to face the struggling Orioles.

Yankees and Blue Jays split the series 1-1 (Yankees should have swept, Rivera blown save in  the 1st game)

The Orioles got off to a hot 6-1 start and shocked just about everybody, but then lost 13-1 to the Rangers in what was the beginning of their down slide, losing their next 7, including two to the Yankees in the Bronx.  Let's face it, the Orioles are now where everyone figured they would be and that's under .500.  In the first game that the Yanks and Orioles played just a week ago, Chris Tillman lasted 1.2 innings, before getting pulled because he gave up 9 hits and 6 earned runs, including a 3-run homer to A-Rod.  Tillman is scheduled to pitch in game two of this series.  Jake Arrieta whose going to close out the series for the Orioles actually pitched very well in his start against the Yankees allowing 5 hits and 3 runs over 6 innings, leaving with a 5-3 lead headed to the 7th, only to see his bullpen blow it, as the Yankees went on to win 6-5 in 10 innings.  The Orioles will have to get a power surge from guys like Vladdy Guerrero, Mark Reynolds and Derek Lee (all have 1 HR, and hit a combined 80 HRs in 2010) if they want to compete with this Yankees team.

Yankees win series 2-0 (game 1 was rained out)

Team with Tough Matchups-
San Francisco Giants @ Rockies vs. Braves - The Giants head to Colorado for a three game set with the hottest team in baseball right now, and they have Tim Lincecum on the hill to start which is a plus.  However it's going to be a tough task as the Rockies are 12-3 to start the year and are 3rd with 85 runs scored this year.  Troy Tulowitzki is on a power surge as he leads the majors with 7 homers and has 14 rbi's with a .364 avg.  With Carlos Gonzalez hitting in front of him, they make up arguably the best 3-4 punch in baseball.  Hitting in front of those two, the Rockies have found a new 2nd baseman in Jonathan Herrera who is hitting .400 in 35 at-bats this year, and has a .543 obp thanks to his 11 walks.  Then of course they still have the forgotten man Todd Helton who is hitting .342 and will continue hitting until he retires.  Aside from the great hitting the Rockies are getting great pitching from a bunch of guys nobody has heard of.  Jhoulys Chacin is 3-0 in 3 starts with 1.64 era, to lead Rockies starters who are a combined 9-1, and this is with ace Ubaldo Jiminez on the DL after his 1st start.

Giants win series 2-1

The Giants play host to the Braves after the Rockies series and the hitting and pitching they'll face wont be any easier.  A lineup with Prado, Chipper, McCann, Uggla and Heyward is no easy task for anybody including Lincecum.  But hitting against guys like Tim Hudson and Tommy Hanson won't allow your offense to get into a rythm, which puts more pressure on the pitchers to do their job of keeping the Braves off the board.  With the Giants being at home, I think it plays to their advantage and I'm not saying they can't win this series but it wont be easy.  They'll really need some good starting pitching and some timely hitting from the middle of that lineup, specifically Huff, Posey, and Sandoval.

Braves sweep Giants 3-0
