Fantasy Football Pickups for Week 4

Are you in need of some assistance on who to pickup to help bolster your roster? Here are some players who we think can make a positive impact on your fantasy squad, who are still available in most leagues.

Must Haves
Daniel Thomas (RB) - It did not take long for Thomas to take over the RB duties in Miami.  Reggie Bush had a great season opener and has been absent since.  Thomas has gained 202 rushing yards in his two weeks of play and he has added a receiving TD.

Lance Moore (WR) - Moore finally reminded fantasy owners why we drafted him even though he was injured.  A healthy Moore is a productive Moore.

Brandon Petigrew (TE) - For some reason he is only 55% owned in Yahoo leagues.  I am sure that will change this week.

Solid Pickups
Damian Williams (WR) - The loss of Kenny Britt means that  his 26 targets over 3 weeks will now be spread out.  Williams should be on the receiving end of many of those targets.

Good For A Week
Victor Cruz (WR) - Cruz has 3 catches for over 100 yards and 2 TDs last week.  He came up big but the minute Mario Manningham comes back, Cruz loses nearly all of his fantasy value.  Play Cruz next week if and only if Super Mario misses another game.

Kendall Hunter (RB) - Frank Gore suffered an ankle injury and Hunter finished the game with 26 yards rushing and a TD  He should get the bulk of the carries if Gore is to actually miss week 4.

Steve Smith (WR) - Jeremy Maclin might miss week 4 with some hamstring issues.  If that is the case, Smith should see a lot of short route targets.  Great for PPR, regardless of who the QB is.

Players to Watch
Torrey Smith (WR) - His first 3 NFL catches went for 100 plus yards and 3 Tds.  Obviously it is not probable that he repeats this again this season.  However, with Lee Evans being invisible/hurt, some other receiver has to make some plays.  Keep an eye on how Smith backs up his breakout performance.

Titus Young (WR) - 5 catches in week 2 and 4 more catches last week, Young is becoming a part of a powerful offense.  Deep league PPR guys should keep a close eye on Titus.

Lavelle Hawkins (WR) - Much like Damian Williams, Hawkins is going to make the best of the Titans loss.  Williams is ranked higher on depth charts, but that doesn't mean Hasslebeck will not look for him.  If Hawkins can out play Willliams, he is worth a look.
