Fantasy Football Pickups for Week 10

With no BYE weeks in week 10, most people should be set with their teams as they won't need BYE week fillers.  However there has been a ton of injuries to big name players this season so here are a few players who can help out this week and for weeks to come!

Must Haves
Laurent Robinson WR - Mentioned last week to pick him up as he had a big game against the Eagles and was a legitimate deep threat.  Had another 5 catches and a TD last week against the Seahawks.  With Miles Austin out for 2-4 weeks Robinson will step into the starting lineup and will see an increase in targets in the upcoming weeks.

Solid Pickups
Roy Helu RB – You never know with Mike Shannahan who will get the starting nod at RB from week to week but Roy Helu earned himself another start next week.  He made the most of his limited rushing attempts (10 for 41) against a tough 49ers defense and added 14 catches for 105 yards.  Helu looks to be Beck's safety, so if your in a PPR league Helu is a solid add.

Marion Barber RB - Barber is starting to do what he did when he first started with the Dallas Cowboys and that's be a solid reliable backup RB and goal line guy.  He's now healthy and starting to get touches behind Matt Forte.  He's getting about 9 carries for 34 yards a game over the last 3 weeks with a touchdown in each.  With all the injuries out there to RB's Barber is worth a risk if you need him as he will get almost 10 carries and have a chance for at least 1 score every game.

Jake Ballard TE - We all know how weak the TE position is in fantasy football, and besides from the top few guys it's really hit or miss with anyone else.  However Ballard has earned the trust of Eli Manning not only near the goal line but down the field as well.  Over his last 5 games Ballard is averaging over 60 yards per game with 3 TDs and has seen a 20+ yard catch in them all.

Good For A Week
Chris Ogbonnaya RB – Hillis and Hardesty ruled out again for week 10, so Ogbonnaya in line for another start this week against the Rams.  It wasn't pretty last week for Ogbonnaya but should see more work and more production against a soft Rams defense.  Pick him up if you need a RB this week that you know will get the touches.

Jaguars Defense - You would never know it because Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars offense is awful, but the defense has been very good this year.  The defense has only given up 197 passing yards (8th) and 110 rushing yards (11th) a game which is shocking considering how often they are on the field.  They only have 16 sacks and 10 take aways but this week they face a Colts team which is completely lost when their offense is on the field.  The Jags are a must start this week unless you own one of the top defenses in the league.  Expect big things from them this weekend as the Colts will have trouble moving the ball all game.

Players to Watch
Earl Bennett WR - In his first action in a month, Bennett had a great game against the Eagles on MNF catching all 5 of the passes his way for 95 yards and a TD.  However I'd like to see if his targets are increased in the next few weeks before I consider him a solid add.  The Bears like to spread the ball around on offense, so it will be interesting to see if Bennett and Cutler use this game to create a chemistry from here on out.
