Fantasy Basketball 2012 - March Recap

The Timberwolves lost Ricky Rubio for the season back on March 9.  That did not stop Kevin Love from scoring more points (491) than anyone in the NBA in the month of March.  He finished the month averaging 34 points and 15 rebounds over hist last 5 games.  He scored 30 points 8 times, including two 40 point games and a 50 point game!  Love grabbed 70 offensive rebounds this month, which was 5 more than the #2 guy Kris Humphries.  He also lead the league in defensive rebounds, grabbing two more offensive rebounds (153) than Superman himself, Dwight Howard.  Love made more 3pts than anyone else

Not far behind though, Josh Smith finished the month averaging 23.9 points, 10 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and steals per night.  Smith had 6 30 point nights this month.  Only Kevin Love scored more points.  Crazy part is though that Josh Smith actually shot the ball 9 more times (394) than Kobe Bryant (385).

Rajon Rondo lead the NBA in assist with 219. He was the only player with more than 188 assists (Steve Nash).

Paul Milsap's 44 steals was second to Chris Paul's 53.

Serge Ibaka has 58 blocks. That was just 10 shy of Roy Hibbert (35) and Andrew Bynum (33) combined!

Mike Dunleavy made 54% of his 3pts going 37 of 68.  However, 37 3s was only good for 8th this month as Kevin Love lead the way with 48, followed by Ryan Anderson 44 , Randy Foye 43, Steve Novak 43, Joe Johnson 40, Klay Thompson 39, Marcus Thorton 39.

Kevin Durant lead the NBA in turnovers with 63.  Rondo, Nash, Wall and Lawson rounded out the top 5 all with at least 55.
