5 QB Matchups I Love
  • Robert Griffin III - RG3 is facing the Buccaneers the worst pass defense in the NFL this week. If you got him start him.
  • Matt Schaub - He threw 4 TDs against the Broncos who have an above average defense, he now faces a Titans defense who are giving up nearly 38 points a game.
  • Joe Flacco - The Browns are still without their top defensive back Joe Haden who is suspended. The Ravens are home and Flacco is off to a great start this year averaging 2 TDs and more than 300 yards per game.
  • Alex Smith - With a great 49ers offense line going up against a weak Jets pass rush who have only recorded 3 sacks through 3 games, Alex Smith should have all day to throw against a Revis-less secondary.
  • Peyton Manning - Expect to see vintage Peyton Manning this Sunday as he faces a Raiders defense who has allowed 6 passing TDs and has not recorded a INT this year.

5 RB Matchups I Love
  • Maurice Jones-Drew - Bengals are the second worst run defense in the NFL allowing 155 yards per game and has allowed 5 TDs.  Jones-Drew looked great last week too.
  • Arian Foster / Ben Tate - See Matt Schaub above. This game could get ugly in a hurry and I can see both Foster and Tate finding the end zone.
  • Ryan Mathews - Looked solid in his first game coming back from injury. The Chargers should be on the field pretty often against the Chiefs and their run defense is giving up 122 yards a game.
  • Marshawn Lynch - The Rams have given up 5 TDs and are allowing 120 yards a game to opposing RBs. Expect to see Lynch in beast mode.
  • LeSean McCoy - The Giants have a very good defense but they have not figured out a way to slow down McCoy as he has 100+ yards in 3 of his last 4 games against New York.

5 WR Matchups I Love
  • Victor Cruz - These Giants vs Eagles games usually turn into shootouts and Victor Cruz went for 100+ yards in both games against Philly last year, scoring in both (9 catches 238 yards 3 TDs).
  • Wes Welker - Brady and Welker are back on track with Hernandez being out with an injury. Last year against Buffalo Welker had 22 catches including a 16 reception game including 217 yards and 2 TDs.
  • Percy Harvin - Percy leads the NFL in receptions with 27, and he's going up against a Lions defense  that gave up two 60+ yard TD passes last week to Tennessee, not to mention a punt and kickoff return as well so Percy could have a HUGE all around game.
  • Stevie Johnson - Has a scored a TD in all 3 games so far this year and the Bills will have to throw all day. Even if he doesn't have a great game early, he'll probably score a cheap TD late like he did against the Jets.
  • Andre Johnson - Johnson does have 2 TDs this year but has not been anything special as he's only recorded 5 receptions in the last 2 games but Tennessee just gave up 450 passing yards to the Lions so expect Johnson to go off.

5 TE Matchups I Love
  • Martellus Bennett - Bennett has scored in all 3 games and his receptions have gone up each game. Eli loves his TEs and in a game against Philly I expect to see Eli throw his way a lot.
  • Scott Chandler - At 6'7 Chandler is a huge target for Fitzpatrick. Going up against the Patriots with their top 2 RBs out due to injury, expect the Bills to air it out all game and Chandler might be in line for a big game.
  • Dustin Keller - If Keller can go Sunday I expect him to have a nice game. Sanchez has been struggling and Keller is his go to guy. A game where the Jets run game should be shut down, Sanchez will have to throw and Keller might rack up the receptions.
  • Greg Olsen - Panthers should be losing most of the game against the Falcons and will be forced to throw. Olsen is clearly Newton's favorite target besides Steve Smith so he should see a lot of targets.
  • Jimmy Graham - It will be a shootout in Green Bay, and Graham has scored in all 3 games.
5 DEF Matchups I Love
  • Ravens vs. Browns - Lets face it, it's the Ravens defense against the Cleveland Browns offense. What's not to love?
  • Giants @ Eagles - Giants shut down Cam Newton and Vick is essentially the same QB.  The Eagles are averaging an NFL low 15.7 points a game and have been turning the ball over at an extremely high rate
  • Bears @ Cowboys - The Cowboys have 5 offensive TDs in 3 games and the Bears have only allowed 4 TDs on defense. Advantage Bears.
  • Falcons vs Panthers - Falcons offense will make this a blowout early and expect Cam Newton to struggle again as he will be forced to throw.
  • Patriots @ Bills - No Fred Jackson, no CJ Spiller, expect a lot of Ryan Fitzpatrick. All the reason you need to love this matchup for the Patriots defense.

Upset of the Week (1-2)
Giants @ Eagles

Pick 6 (9-9)
Ravens vs Browns
49ers @ Jets
Patriots @ Bills
Texans vs Titans
Cardinals vs Dolphins
Bengals @ Jaguars

Things to look for:

Browns @ Ravens - Ray Rice has seen his carries increase from 10 to 16 to 20 in the first three games of the year.  He does have 3 TDs on the year but it would be nice to see the Ravens give him more carries throughout the game.  So in what should be his easiest matchup to date, will he finally be given the rock 25+ times and break out for fantasy owners?

49ers @ Jets - With Darrelle Revis out for the year will the 49ers air it out and let Alex Smith attack the Jets secondary? Will we finally see Tebow have an impact on this lackluster Jets offense?

Patriots @ Bills - Will Tashard Choice take advantage of CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson being out with an injury? Do the Patriots continue their dominance against the Bill (New England is 16-1 against Buffalo since 2003) and  prove that records 3 games into the season really don't matter (Bills 2-1, Pats 1-2).

Chargers @ Chiefs - Is Jamaal Charles back to 2010 form, or did he just take advantage of an awful Saints defense? The Chargers will be a good test for him as they have only allowed 202 rushing yards so far in 2012 which is ranked 4th.

Giants @ Eagles - Will Vick continue to struggle as he faces a tough Giants D-Line and will either team make a statement and prove they are the team to beat in the NFC East?

Saints @ Packers - Can the Saints finally get back on track with a huge win in Green Bay or will they fall to a dreadful 0-4?
