NBA Plays for Draftkings Big 12k Tourny

Draftkings is putting on another 12k tourney Wednesday, and it’s time we show up big. There are 11 games, and many options to choose from. The prices have been updated some, so value is a little harder to find, but it’s still there. There are so many good choices out there in terms of pure players that we’re going to rank our top 3 for each position.

Point Guard:
  1. Stephen Curry
  2. Russell Westbrook
  3. Kyrie Irving
Curry has been great this season averaging 38 fantasy points a game. He’ll be facing off against the Kings who among the worst against the guard position. Russell Westbrook has been great for the Thunder this season and has put up over 40 points a game in 7 of his last 8 contests. His price is cheaper than usual ($8,500), but is still expensive. Kyrie Irving has been spectacular since his return from injury last week. We think it continues against Boston even with them being on the road.

Shooting Guard:
  1. Paul George
  2. Monta Ellis
  3. Evan Turner
Paul George has been on a hot streak in the month of December putting up over 35 fantasy points in his last eight games. Before Tuesday’s game, Monta had put up over 35 points in three of his last four games. Evan Turner has been a great fantasy option in the last few games since Holiday has been out. It seems like Holiday will be back Wednesday, but if he isn’t then Turner is a great player.

Small Forward:
  1. James Harden
  2. Carmelo Anthony
  3. Chandler Parsons
James Harden has 60 point potential every night he goes out there, and that’s the main reason why we love him Wednesday in the big tourney game. He should be a great play at home. Carmelo has been out the last few games, but if he’s back he’s always a great play. With the matchup against the Nets, and the fact that it’s at home, it’ll be hard to keep him out of our lineup if healthy. Parsons has been a great partner in crime for the Rockets this season. He has put up 25+ points in his last six games.

Power Forward:
  1. David Lee
  2. Zach Randolph
  3. Anderson Varejao
David Lee, like we always say, is one of the most consistent forwards around right now. His price keeps creeping up, but if you want a guaranteed 35-40 points this is the guy to look at especially with his matchup versus the Kings. Zach Randolph has a solid matchup against the Bucks Wednesday, and has 50 point potential as well. Varejao is a rebounding master and finds himself with a great matchup against the Celtics. We compare Varejao to Noah and Noah just put up a triple double versus them Tuesday.

  1. Al Horford
  2. Greg Monroe
  3. Glen Davis
Horford isn’t usually a guy we like to play, but with his low price on Wednesday we’ll have to consider him especially because we don’t see many playing him. Monroe finds himself with a great matchup going against the Raptors, but will he come up big or fall short of people’s expectations and put up a 20 point game? Glen Davis is a cheaper option, $6,000 on DK Wednesday, and has a great matchup going against the Wizards who just went into OT on Tuesday.
