Bud Norris Traded to Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles have acquired Bud Norris to help them make a playoff push. Norris is just 6-9 this season but has pitched for a bad Houston Astros ball club since 2009. Over the course of his 5 seasons in the Majors, Norris has piled up 34 wins and owns an 8.4 K/9 ratio. His strikeouts are way down this season (6.4 K/9) but he owns a respectable 3.94 ERA. Pitching for the Orioles is a clear boost in fantasy value and should become a regular in streaming pitching. Bud was 42nd in American League run support as a member of the Astros, and will now be granted the same support Chris Tillman and Jason Hammel have received all season long.

The Orioles sent outfielder L.J. Hoes to the Astros, and without a doubt will be the winner of this trade.

The Orioles and Astros have agreed to a trade that will send Bud Norris to Baltimore for L.J. Hoes and another piece, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter).- MLBTradeRumors
