Could Terrelle Pryor Be A Mini Russell Wilson?

I am not making this comparison because they both beat out Matt Flynn, but more so their style of Quarterbacking.  Both guys can get out of the pocket and scramble with the best of them and as Wilson and Robert Griffin III proved last season, that ability equals lots of fantasy points!  Similar to Wilson last season, we were not in love with Wilson's receivers, but Denarius Moore, Rod Streater and Brice Butler are comparable, if not better than Sidney Rice, Golden Tate and company.  Pryor will need his receivers to be creative to max his potential, as routes will need to be broken once he starts to scramble.  These highlights from preseason Week 3 against the Chicago Bears will make you salivate at his potential this season, with my favorite right around the 30 second mark.  If the Raiders can SOMEHOW get the run game going with Darren McFadden, unlikely I know, their playaction could be so lethal.

This preseason, Pryor went 17-32 for 221 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. He added 131 rushing yards on just 14 carries and a TD.

There is no doubt that he will make you scratch your head quite often, but I bet by the middle of the season, when the BYE weeks come into play, Pryor will be a commonly added player.  Let's just hope he becomes a poor mans Russell Wilson and not another Tavaris Jackson!
