Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 9

Once again, injuries ruined some fantasy football matchups in Week 8.  Michael Vick left the Eagles loss early, Julius Thomas foot injury led to a Joel Dressen TD, Zac Stacy needs X-Rays on his ankle, Brandon Gibson saw his season come to an end and Robert Griffin III had to hand the ball to Kirk Cousins to finish the Redskins game.  Week 9 also features BYE weeks for Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, Eli Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Knowshon Moreno, Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Frank GoreAndre Ellington, Maurice Jones-Drew, Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Calvin Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Justin Blackmon, Julius Thomas and Vernon Davis.  It is going to be a LONG week for some owners, but we are here to help!

  • Terrelle Pryor - Any QB that can out run the defense for 93 yards is worth starting in fantasy football
  • Andy Dalton - Dalton has now climbed into top 10 QB status thanks to a huge day against the Jets
  • Josh McCown - He looked good taking over for the injured Cutler
  • Case Keenum - Deep leagues only

  • Daryl Richardson - If Stacy's X-Rays show any serious injury, Richardson is the Rams starting RB again
  • Pierre Thomas - Can help in PPR leagues
  • Willis McGahee - A starter is a starter these days
  • Mike James - See McGahee
  • Daniel Thomas - A matchup with the Bengals is tough but both Dolphins RBs are running well and Thomas caught a TD last week
  • Andre Brown - Get him now for Week 10 action

  • Terrance Williams - Four straight weeks with a TD
  • Marvin Jones - Jones caught 3 TDs against the Jets and now has scored in the Bengals last 3 games
  • Kenny Stills -  Making the most of his 3 or 4 catches per game. His last 6 catches have gone for 193 yards and 3 TDs
  • DeAndre Hopkins - Let's hope the rookie can get on the same page with the new QB
  • Eddie Royal - Inconsistent but the Redskins pass defense is terrible
  • Nate Washington - Jake Locker looked good last week, but the Rams Defense looked even better last nighit on Monady Night Football.  Can't hurt on a week with top WRs on a BYE
  • Kendall Wright - See above
  • Darrius Heyward-Bey -  If he is ever going to prove himself in the NFL, this is his opportunity

  • Jordan Reed -  The Redskins second option in the pass game, 21 catches for 281 yards over Washington's last 3 contests
  • Charles Clay - Tannehill looks his way often in the Red Zone
  • Coby Fleener - With Wayne out, maybe Luck will turn to his TE more often
  • Heath Miller - Hopefully Miller returns to 6 catches per week
  • Tyler Eifert -  Miami is one of the worst in the league at stopping opposing TEs

  • Baltimore Ravens - The Cleveland Browns offense is nothing to fear
  • New Orleans Saints - If the Saints pull ahead and force the Jets to ignore the run game, this is a great matchup
  • Tennessee Titans - St. Louis is terrible with Kellen Clemens under center
  • Indianapolis Colts - Houston will start a rookie QB against a team that beat Peyton's Broncos
