The MLB offseason has to be one of the best in all the major sports. We have already seen Robinson Cano, Jacoby Ellsbury, Curtis Granderson, Carlos Beltran, Doug Fister, A.J. Pierzynski, Joe Nathan, and more change uniforms and there is still plenty of action ahead. This is one of the most important times for franchises looking to make a big time move and fantasy baseball is usually greatly impacted during the Winter Meetings. Garrett Jones has finalized his two-year deal with the Marlins, and an announcement is expected on Monday...With Jones joining the club, the Marlins are actively shopping first baseman Logan Morrison. The Rays, Brewers, Braves and Orioles are said to be interested. - Joe Frisaro
The first-base market is flush with trade possibilities, from the Mets’ Ike Davis and Marlins’ Logan Morrison to the Rangers’ Mitch Moreland and Red Sox’s Mike Carp. The Red Sox are not motivated to move Carp, even after re-signing Mike Napoli, but teams looking for first basemen have choices beyond free agents James Loney, Corey Hart and Kendrys Morales. - Fox Sports
A trade for David Price is probably be a long shot for the Dodgers, who are short on top-tier prospects they could offer in exchange for Price. The two players in their system who might have the highest ceilings are teenagers: infielder Corey Seager, 19, and left-hander Julio Urias, 17. - LA Times
Many teams remain in the market for starting pitching, and White Sox general manager Rick Hahn has three marketable left-handers on his roster: Chris Sale, Jose Quintana and Hector Santiago. The White Sox are open to discussing trade proposals for all three, sources told FOX Sports 1, although the team is more willing to trade Santiago than Sale or Quintana. - Fox Sports
