Third base is quickly becoming a very good hitting position. For our ranking purposes, Miguel Cabrera is listed at First Base so he is not ranked here. Matt Carpenter has been shifted here from Second Base and instead of being a top 5 guy at 2B he is a top 10 3B. Kyle Seager gets to play with Robinson Cano this season and Seager should post career numbers. It will be interesting to see how Manny Machado returns from injury and how other owners in your league rank him. The position is pretty deep, but if you can add a top 5 guy in the first five rounds, you did yourself a favor.

Lonnie Chisenhall is the Cleveland Indians 3B, but when/if Carlos Santana plays 3B it seems Chisenhall will be on the bench, especially against lefties. Draft him in the deepest of leagues and AL only.
