2014 Fantasy Baseball Catcher Rankings

Catchers continue to disappoint fantasy baseball owners.  Carlos Santana finished as the top backstop last season and is now the Cleveland Indians starting 3B.  The position is seeing a nice youth movement and will add Travis d'Arnaud, Mike Zunino and Josmil Pinto to the draft pool.  Joe Mauer will be playing 1st base this season and will be ranked amongst his peers.  Brian McCann will be wearing pinstripes this season and could see a nice spike in HR totals, thanks to the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium.  As it is every year, this is a position to not worry much about during fantasy drafts.

Who Would You Rather Have? Jason Castro or Evan Gattis

Geovany Soto is out for 12 weeks so J.P. Arencibia will take over the everyday catching duties for the Texas Rangers
