The Rockets Trade Aaron Brooks To The Nuggets

After losing Nate Robinson for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL and trading Andre Miller to the Wizards, the Nuggets desperately needed depth behind Ty Lawson. Luckily for Denver, the Houston Rockets have too much depth at the point guard position.

Denver will send swingman Jordan Hamilton to Houston for point guard Aaron Brooks.

Brooks will come in off the bench to give Ty Lawson a breather, and Randy Foye will go back to being the starting shooting guard, with Quincy Miller and Evan Fournier coming off the bench as well.

Hamilton will provide the Rockets with a tall athletic swingman who can really shoot the ball well. He will be able to provide quality minutes off the bench behind James Harden and Chandler Parsons.
