Texans Trade Matt Schaub to Raiders

The Oakland Raiders have traded for QB Matt Schaub, sending a 6th round draft pick to the Houston Texans.  After spending his first 3 seasons as Michael Vick's backup for the Atlanta Falcons, Schaub has been the Texans QB since 2007, tossing 124 TDs.

Schaub led the Texans to just 3 winning seasons, including 2011 when he played in just 10 games. The Texans were 46-42 with Schaub under center. He is however an upgrade over Terrelle Pryor, for the short term and this will allow the Raiders to look elsewhere during the NFL draft.
