NBA Playoffs Simulation - Charlotte Bobcats vs Miami Heat

The Miami Heat will start their run at a 3peat with the Charlotte Bobcats standing in the way. Kudos to Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker for leading this young team to the Playoffs, but this series was over before it began!  Our simulation has the Heat winning in 5.

Miami was lights out in this one as they shot 54% from the field. The Heat defense held the Bobcats to just 34% shooting.

If it was LeBron James idea to make a statement in game 1, he absolutely made it. LeBron scored 44 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. He was 13-23 from the field and 15-19 from the foul line. Chris Bosh added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bobcats had 5 players in double figures, led by Kemba Walker's 20 points.

Heat lead series 2-0

Miami dominated the paint, outscoring Charlotte 54-30. They jumped out to a 10 point lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back.

Chris Bosh led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds. The Heat got production off the bench from Ray Allen, Norris Cole and Chris Andersen. Allen scored 11 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 4 assists.  Cole scored 13 points on 6-10 shooting and Andersen added 10 points. Lebron James had a quiet 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwyane Wade scored 19 points but had a terrible night shooting as he went 7-18 from the field and 5-12 from the foul line.

Once again Kemba Walker scored 20 points to lead the Bobcats. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Gerald Henderson both scored 15 points. Al Jefferson grabbed 13 rebounds but was 4-13 from the field for 9 points.

Heat lead series 2-1

The Bobcats took advantage of the Heat going 16-30 from the foul line and were able to get back into the series with a 10 point victory over Miami.

Al Jefferson had a big night for Charlotte with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Gerald Henderson and Kemba Walker each scored 21 points. Luke Ridnour scored 13 points off the bench.

Lebron James scored 36 points on 15-27 shooting. James also had 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. James was 1 of 5 players on the Heat who went to the free throw line and missed at least 2 free throws. Lebron was just 5-8 from the charity stripe.Chris Bosh grabbed 12 rebounds but finished with just 6 points on 2-15 shooting.

It looked as if the Bobcats were going to tie this series up at 2 games a piece. Miami trailed Charlotte by 9 points heading into the 4th quarter but outscored the Bobcats 40-27 in the 4th to steal game 4, and go up 3 games to 1.

Chris Bosh bounced back from a 2-15 shooting performance in game 3, with a 10-15 shooting performance in game 4, as he led the heat with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Dwyane Wade added 22 points and Lebron scored 20 with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Ray Allen hit three 3's off the bench as he finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds.

Gary Neal was a spark off the bench for Charlotte, as he led the Bobcats with 19 points. Al Jefferson posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Kemba Walker scored 18 points on 6-12 shooting.

Heat win series 4-1

After a devastating loss in game 4, the Bobcats did not even show up for game 5. Miami outscored Charlotte in every quarter and breezed to a 16 point victory. The Heat held the Bobcats to just 37% shooting and forced 20 turnovers.

Lebron James had a big night with 27 points and 17 rebounds. Mario Chalmers put together a nice little stat line of 8 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Ray Allen hit another three 3's off the Miami bench.

Gerald Henderson led the Bobcats with 18 points and Al Jefferson had a nice game with 15 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Luke Ridnour scored 14 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 4 assists off the bench. Chris Douglas-Roberts had 10 points off the bench as well.
