Thursday Night Football Breakdown

Wilson and Lynch lead Seahawks to blowout victory over Rodgers Packers.

Click for recap and fantasy outlook!

The Seahawks simply do not lose at home and will be on a high, playing in front of the 12th man for the first time since winning the Super Bowl.

Prediction - Green Bay Packers 24 @ Seattle Seahawks 27

Marshawn Lynch should run wild against the Packers defense who allowed 125 yards per game on the ground last year. The last time these two teams met, Lynch ran the ball 25 times for 98 yards, and another 25 carries tonight would not surprise me. This will also keep Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines and limit his possessions. Regardless, Rodgers won't pick apart the LOB!

Do not expect Russell Wilson to do anything extraordinary in this game either, as he'll simply play it smart and manage the game. If he throws the ball more than 25 times I'd be shocked. This also means that Percy Harvin, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse will not rack up the receptions.

Green Bay will have to rely on Eddie Lacy heavily, as the Seahawks secondary just shuts down the passing game. Last season they allowed a leagues best 172 yards per game through the air.

Unless the Seahawks get out to a big lead early, I do not think this is a good matchup for Jordy Nelson as Seattle will likely stick Richard Sherman on him all night. Randall Cobb could catch a ton of balls over the middle and for short yardage, so if you own him in a PPR league he could come up big.
