Calvin Johnson Could Miss a Week or Two

The Detroit Lions were able to get Calvin Johnson healthy enough to play in their Week 5 loss to the Kyle Orton led Buffalo Bills, but Megatron was only able to catch 1 ball for 7 yards before being removed from the game.  He aggravated an ankle injury that made him a game time decision today.  He will have it checked out on Monday.

In his absence, Golden Tate exploded for 134 yards on 7 receptions (9 targets) and scored a TD.  Matthew Stafford struggled without Johnson, completing just 16 of his 32 attempts for 221 yards, and INT and was sacked 6 times.

The Lions were already without Joique Bell, and lost Reggie Bush to an ankle injury, leading to George Winn's team high 11 carries and 48 yards.  Detroit will host the Vikings, head to New Orleans and host the Falcons before their Week 9 BYE.
