Nick Foles Broken Collarbone - Out 6-8 Weeks!

UPDATE: Nick Foles will NOT require surgery per @MikeGarafolo

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Houston Texans today, but in the process may have lost QB Nick Foles for a while, to a broken collarbone. Foles attempted 13 passes in the first half, before suffering the injury and Mark Sanchez finished the half, and the game for the Eagles. Sanchez completed 15 of his 22 attempts for 202 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Sanchez hooked up with rookie Jordan Matthews and veteran Jeremy Maclin for scores.  Sanchez and Maclin hooked up for a big 59 yard play:

Foles joins Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins and Tony Romo on a list of NFC East QBs to miss time this season, leaving the one and only Eli Manning left standing.  Unfortunately, Sanchez is a legit fantasy football option for Week 10 in the NFL, as Andrew Luck (Colts), Tom Brady (Patriots), Philip Rivers (Chargers), RG3 (Redskins), Teddy Bridgewater (Vikings) and Ryan Fitzpatrick (Texans) are all on BYE!  However, the Eagles host the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football!

Obviously this will hurt LeSean McCoy's fantasy value, as teams will beg Mark Sanchez to beat them through the air. Shady racked up 117 rushing yards, but it was Chris Polk who picked up the lone Eagles rushing TD. Darren Sproles leads the team with 3 rushing scores, McCoy and Polk each have one.
