Pittsburgh Steelers Release LeGarrette Blount

Just hours after the Cleveland Browns waived Ben Tate, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released LeGarrette Blount.  Blount has seen 10 carries just twice all season long, and last night on Monday Night Football, Le'Veon Bell carried the ball 33 times.  Blount walked off the field in protest.  The Steelers have responded.

Blount's 2 touchdowns matches Bell's season total, but Blount carried the ball just 65 times to Bell's 195 attempts.  Dri Archer is the backup, but he has seen very little playing time this season.
With injures to Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman the Denver Broncos have to seriously consider one of Tate/Blount. Same can be said for the Indianapolis Colts who will be without Ahmad Bradshaw
