The New York Knicks have agreed to trade Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs will send Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Lou Amundson, and Alex Kirk to the Knicks, along with a 2nd round draft pick. OKC will send a 1st round pick to the Knicks (Cavs?) as well as Lance Thomas.
As part of three-team deal, Cavs will get a heavily protected future first-rounder from OKC and Knicks will get a 2019 second-round from CLE

The fantasy basketball relevant players are Shump, JR and Waiters. Shump will join the Cavs starting rotation, most likely, and join Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love...when they are all healthy. Shump should see a slight boost, joining a much better basketball team. JR will continue his role off the bench, but will most likely continue to be ineffective.
Waiters will join Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson (rumored to be dealt but not going anywhere) Anthony Morrow
and Andre Roberson in the backcourt. He will most likely come off the bench, leaving Roberson in the starting lineup. Joining Westrbook, Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka, his role will have little change leaving a start studded Cavs lineup.
.
The Knicks will waive Samuel Dalembert. Tim Hardaway Jr. is the best pickup from the Knicks, as he has no one in front of him on the depth chart these days. With Carmelo Anthony out for a while, he is the go to on offense. Cole Aldrich should see a nice boost in minutes as well, with Amar'e Stoudemire and Andrea Bargnani banged up. Cleanthony Early has returned to the Knicks lineup as well. The Knicks will
most likely call up Langston Galloway from the Westchester Knicks, the teams D-League affiliate.
