Detroit Lions Cut Reggie Bush

The Detroit Lions have released RB Reggie Bush.  Bush gained 1303 rushing yards over 2 seasons with the Lions, but just 297 of those yards came this past season.  He only caught 40 passes for 253 yards in 2014, and scored just 2 total touchdowns.  He was a huge disappointment.  He will turn 30 in March.  Many teams will go after him in free agency.

This Detroit backfield now belongs to Joique Bell who gained a career high 860 rushing yards and scored a career high 8 total touchdowns last season.  He just SHOT up fantasy football draft boards and RB rankings.  However, he was not involved as much in the passing attack, catching just 34 passes after back to back 50 catch seasons.
