Blake Griffin To Have Elbow Surgery

The Los Angeles Clippers received some bad news as they found out their All-Star forward Blake Griffin has a staph infection in his right elbow and he will need surgery to remove the infection.

Griffin will undergo surgery on Monday and will be out until at least the All-Star break. They'll re-evaluate him after the All-Star break to determine if he'll need to sit out even longer.

4-6 weeks seems to be the reported timetable but you'll have to stay tuned.

Spencer Hawes will likely see the biggest increase in minutes but Glen Davis and Hedo Turkoglu will be in the mix for minutes as well.
