2015 Fantasy Football - Tight End Rankings

Last year he was a huge question mark, in 2015 Rob Gronkowski is worthy of being selected late in the 1st, early in the 2nd round.  Gronk will miss Tom Brady to begin the season, but they connected on 12 touchdowns last season and Gronkowski (1,124) was one of two TEs with 1000+ receiving yards (Greg Olsen - 1,008) and one of four with 80+ receptions.  He also saw 132 targets from Brady.

With Jimmy Graham being traded to the Seahawks, it will be interesting to see how he is incorporated in the offense.  Not so sure he sees 125 targets from Russell Wilson in 2015, but Wilson's ability to escape the pocket, and extend plays could create coverage problems for defenders.  Also, near the Red Zone no team will have a triple threat option like a Graham, Wilson and Marshawn LynchSeattle only scored RZ TDs 51.5% of the time last season.  Probably would have won the Super Bowl with Graham as the target on the interception....

Josh Hill will take over in 'Nawlins and catching passes from Drew Brees, which is always a good thing for a TE.  Hill was able to score 5 TDs last season on just 14 receptions.  10, 12 or 14 team league owners could wait out the TE run and just snatch him in the double digit rounds.

Julius Thomas has left Peyton Manning to join the Jacksonville Jaguars and Blake Bortles.  Do not reach for him!  Let some other owner select him in the middle rounds, but if the 9th round roles around, and you do not have  TE and Thomas is available, give him a go.  Owen Daniels will replace Thomas in Denver, but he will have Virgil Green stealing targets all season long.

According to Fantasy Football Calculator ADP, there will still be reliable TEs available in the 10th round.  Are you going with Gronk in the 1st round? Taking a chance one of the TEs who playing on a new team?  Playing the waiting game?
