Cincinnati Reds Trade Mike Leake to San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants have made their annual deadline deal, this time acquiring Mike Leak from the Cincinnati Red in exchange for Adam Duvall and Keury Mella.  The Reds have now dealt Johnny Cueto, Mat Latos, Alfredo Simon and Leake since last season.  Anthony DeSclafani, Michael Lorenzen, Raisel Iglesias, David Holmberg, Josh Smith and Tony Cingrani have all made starts for the Reds in July.

Leake leaving Great American Ballpark is fantastic news for fantasy baseball owners as he gets to pitch at AT&T Park, which allows the least HRs in baseball and the 2nd least amount of runs per game.  Not that he needed more help, but Leake's last 4 starts look like this:

28-Jul@ STLW 4-084000131114W(9-5)3.56
22-Julvs CHCW 9-18411006813W(8-5)3.78
17-Julvs CLEW 6-164110221010W(7-5)3.95
10-Jul@ MIAW 1-083000110125W(6-5)4.08

30 IP 0.60 ERA 0.63 WHIP - available in 50% of Yahoo and ESPN a new tab and go grab him!

Leake will join Madison Bumgarner, Matt Cain, Jake Peavy and Chris Heston in the Giants rotation.

San Fran sits just a 0.5 game behind the Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL West crown and holds the 2nd spot in the NL Wildcard game.

Will the Reds find a new home for Jay Bruce and Aroldis Chapman before today's trade deadline passes?
