Baseballs Most Unlucky Hitters

That's The Way Baseball Go

The following is a list of players in the MLB who are hitting line drives in more than 20% of their ABs, but have a BABIP below league average. These are players that you might want to consider holding onto if you own them, or trying to acquire on the cheap as their luck could change, soon....hopefully!

Baseball's Luckiest Hitters

We have not updated this list since the end of June, when Curtis Granderson and Martin Prado sat at the top with Howard.  Granderson has hit .329 since the All-Star break with 6 doubles and 4 home runs.  During that time he has scored 16 runs, driving in 12, helping lead the New York Mets to first place in the National League East.  His BABIP has climbed to .313 and he still owns a 28% LD.

Prado's BABIP is up to .302, just above average, with a 24% LD.  He finds himself struggling again, hitting .208 over the last seven days.
