5 TEs to Replace Jaguars Julius Thomas

Julius Thomas Jaguars Fantasy Football Replacement TE
Julius Thomas will require surgery to fix his broken hand and will miss the Jacksonville Jaguars first three or four games.  Marcedes Lewis and Clay Harbor will fill the void for Blake Bortles, but for us fantasy football owners, there are better options.
Some will tell you to just drop Thomas, who was playing on some weak ankles last season and is now officially injury prone.  But much like Tom Brady and Martavis Bryant, if you can figure out how to stash these guys, your roster will get a nice boost in October and will help you make a fantasy football playoff run!
The player to target first is Ladarius Green of the San Diego Chargers.  With Antonio Gates out for 4 weeks, serving a suspension, Green is the ideal replacement, if available.  At 34 years old, Gates caught 12 TDs from Philip Rivers.  At 6'6, Green could be a red zone machine!
The New Orleans Saints traded Jimmy Graham, and all eyes focused on Josh Hill.  These days, Benjamin Watson is the target, but Hill managed to catch 5 TDs with Graham on the field.  I would be more than willing to give any TE catching passes from Drew Brees a spot on my team.
Tyrod Taylor won the starting QB job in Buffalo.  He has weapons on the outside in Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Percy Harvin and in the backfield with LeSean McCoy.  Teams will worry very little about Charles Clay.  That's a good thing.  Don't forget, this guy has totaled 127 receptions for 1364 yards and 9 touchdowns over the last two seasons with the Miami Dolphins.  However, he s dealing with a knee injury.
The Oakland Raiders are ready to show the NFL they are a competitive team again.  Derek Carr will have to use all of his weapons, including TE Mychal Rivera.  The offense will feature Amari Cooper and Latavius Murray, but Rivera and Michael Crabtree are going to be factors in 2015.  Rivera had 58 receptions (99 targets) for 534 yards and scored 4 touchdowns last season with Carr.  Take advantage of his playing time early in the season because rookie Clive Walford will be looking to steal snaps and targets once healthy!
Finally, Richard Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers.  No Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb is dealing with a shoulder injury.  There will be plenty of targets to go around between Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery, Jeff Janis and Rodgers.
