Tough news out of Foxborough: #Patriots RB Dion Lewis out for the season with torn ACL per team source.

The New England Patriots cruised to an easy 27-10 victory as they hosted the woeful Washington Redskins. However things were not all peachy in Foxboro. The Patriots lost running back Dion Lewis to a knee injury. Lewis had totaled 53 yards before exiting with the injury.
This is a huge blow to the Patriots, losing Lewis for the season. Lewis has been a huge part of the teams offense, especially in the passing attack and makes a great duo with bruiser LeGarrette Blount. Lewis is this year's Shane Vereen.
Brandon Bolden replaced Lewis and ended up with a carry for 12 yards and 3 receptions for 27 yards, including a touchdown.
