Clippers Blake Griffin Out At Least Two Weeks

The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas, but in doing so, lost Blake Griffin to a partially torn quadriceps tendon.  In the middle of another All-Star season, the Clipper PF is one of eight PF eligible players on Yahoo averaging 50 fantasy points per game and this injury could keep Griffin out through the All-Star break potentially.  Including tonight, the Clippers have four more games before the New Year, and two more before the first week of 2016 is over.

Omri Casspi and Jordan Hill are two players to help out while Griffin is sidelined.  Averaging 30+ points per game over the last 14 days and are more than likely available in your fantasy basketball league.

Doc Rivers could turn to Josh Smith, who hasn't played in two games or Cole Aldrich could see a huge increase in playing time.  This leaves a heavy burden on Chris Paul to take over on the offensive end of the floor and DeAndre Jordan to clean up on the board.

Paul has been on fire as of late, including 10+ assists in 6 of his last 9 games.

J.J. Redick is another guy who could be asked to do more and has already been scoring 18 points per game over the last two weeks.
