Fantasy Football Playoffs Injuries Pile Up

The first round of the Fantasy Football Playoffs rolled through like Marshawn Lynch against the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Playoffs.  Beast Mode.  Only this time, it was Thomas Rawls DuJuan Harris coming out of the Seahawks backfield.  Rawls broke his ankle and his fantastic rookie season has come to a sad end,.  He still led the team with 44 rushing yards on just six carries.  Harris carried the ball 18 times and picked up 42 yards.

Fellow rookie RB, T.J. Yeldon, also had his day cut short which led to Denard Robinson rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown.  He is looking like a low-end RB2/Flex play in Week 15 action if you need to replace Yeldon, who was seen on crutches and is doubtful against the Atlanta Falcons.  We loved Yeldon's matchups heading into the Fantasy Playoffs.

Other RB Options to Target on Waivers

Don't go chasing Isaish Crowell!  The Browns RB gained nearly half his season total last week and Cleveland's next game is in Seattle.

Once Andy Dalton was officially ruled OUT of the Bengals Week 14 loss to the Steelers, A.J. Green owners thought their season was over.  But A.J. McCarron came in and threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns (2 INTs) including a 66 yarder to Green.

McCarron will look to be the first Alabama QB to win an NFL game since 1987, as the Bengals head to San Francisco.

Johnny Manziel just put up 270 passing yards and a TD on the Niners, but Crowell rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns.  I expect the Bengals to lean heavily on Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard.

It will be hard not to want to target Ryan Fitzpatrick with a waiver claim, but just remember, he has dates with the Cowboys and Patriots in Weeks 15 and 16.  Aaron Rodgers had some success but it was James Starks and Eddie Lacy that wreaked havoc on the Cowboys defense.

Other QB Options to Target on Waivers

We were not keen on Dalton's playoff schedule and by default, we have little confidence in McCarron moving forward.

Not to mention, the Bengals could also be without Tyler Eifert who suffered a concussion, knocking him out of Sunday's loss.  Eric Ebron is the TE target on waivers as the Lions lost Brandon Pettigrew to a torn ACL.  With Greg Olsen a question mark next week, Ebron will be claimed by someone.  If you need him, pick him up.
