Saints RB Mark Ingram Out for Season - Shoulder

The New Orleans Saints will be without RB Mark Ingram for the rest of the season as he deals with a shoulder injury.  Ingram currently ranks third among fantasy running backs this season with 120.70 points, bested by Devonta Freeman (164.85) and Adrian Peterson (137.05).  Ingram has been part of the Saints pass attack, adding 50 receptions, despite the team signing C.J. Spiller this offseason.  Ingram had 53 receptions for his career coming into the season.  He will finish with 1,174 total yards (769 rushing) and six touchdowns, all rushing.

Fantasy owners were asking a lot of Ingram in the playoffs, as the Saints matchup with some tough run defenses

Instead, fantasy owners can live on the edge and try using Spiller but Tim Hightower could ruin that option for owners.  Even after waivers, guys like Shane Vereen, Antonio Andrews, Darren Sproles and James White are all under 50% owned on Yahoo.  Good luck guys, hope you had a quality RB on your bench!
