A.J. Pollock Needs Surgery for Elbow Fracture

The Arizona Diamondbacks will start the MLB season without A.J. Pollock after he aggravated an elbow injury on a slide at home tonight.  It is looking like it could keep him out of Arizona's lineup for three months!

We ranked Pollock 5th in our Fantasy Baseball OF Rankings and has a top 20 ADP.

The Dbacks traded Ender Inciarte to the Atlanta Braves for Shelby Miller this Winter, so Socrates Brito should expect increased playing time to begin the season, joining David Peralta and Yasmany Tomas in the outfield.

Be on the look out for Peter O'Brien in deeper leagues that value power.

With Pollock batting near the top of the order, it will be interesting to see if Jake Lamb gets moved up, or if we see numerous lineups early in the season as Chip Hale tries to find a lineup that works.
