Texas Rangers Promote Prospect Nomar Mazara

Mazara went 3-4 with a home run in his MLB debut.

The Texas Rangers have placed Shin Soo Choo on the disabled list and promoted Nomar Mazara, who is one of their top prospects. He should see regular playing time in RF and is worth adding in fantasy baseball as he has ridiculous power.
Mazara, 20, is one of the Rangers' "Big Three" position prospects, along with Joey Gallo and Lewis Brinson. He put up a combined .296/.366/.443 line last year between AA and AAA, and has a 1288 OPS in three games this season in AAA. He's a below average runner and defender, but has a big-time arm that plays well in right field, as well as an above-average approach at the plate, where he hits for average and power. - Lone Star Ball
Mazara hit .296 between AA and AA with 26 doubles and 14 home runs in 490 ABs and hit .325 this Spring in 32 ABs.
