Minnesota Twins Promote Prospect Max Kepler

An injury to Danny Santana is all it took for the Minnesota Twins organization to call up Max Kepler.  He will join the Twins other top prospects, Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano, but will struggle for consistent ABs, splitting time with Buxton, Sano and Eddie Rosario.  We could see him play 1B on days that Joe Mauer DHs or gets a day off, but for now, Kepler will have limited fantasy baseballvalue.

That being said, he hit 34 doubles, 13 triples and 9 home runs in 431 Minor League ABs between A+ and AA ball in 2015.

He had a rough Spring Training, picking up just 7 hits in 30 ABs for a .233 BA.

The Twins are hitting just .209 to start the season and are 0-5, scoring just 9 runs.
