Doug Martin Out a Few Weeks With a Hamstring Injury

After week 2 knocked out Danny Woodhead, Arian Foster, Jonathan Stewart and then some more RBs, we are hit with even more bad news.  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without RB Doug Martin for multiple games, due to a hamstring injury.  Waivers have cleared, so go check on Charles Sims.  If he is a free agent, go add him!

After seeing 18 carries for 62 yards week 1, Martin was limited to just seven carries for 23 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in week 2.  Sims handled 9 carries and caught three passes in the 40-7 blowout loss.

Sims did not rush for a single touchdown in 2015, but did average 4.9 yards per carry on 107 attempts.  He did catch four TDs, and totaled 51 receptions for 561 yards.  He piled up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage.

The Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers have a week 4 bye, so having another option at RB will be useful, even if Sims matchup that week is against the Denver Broncos.  In week 5, the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars on bye weeks.Fantasy Football Doug Martin Injury
