NFL DFS Thanksgiving Day - Wide Receivers

Adam Thielen continues to have an unbelievable season with 289 receiving yards in the Vikings last two games, a touchdown in each of the last 3 weeks and at least 5 catches in every game this season!  However, he is the most expensive WR and will have huge ownership.  Both Thielen and Stefon Diggs caught five passes in week 4 against the Lions, totaling 157 receiving yards, but they failed to score a touchdown in a 14-7 loss.  It's safe to assume that this game will go over 21 points, but is it worth paying for Thielen?  If you want a Vikings WR, save the money and roll with Diggs.

The Vikings secondary is also very good, but the Lions top WRs are both cheaper than Minnesota's.  Marvin Jones has three more targets than Golden Tate over the last four games following their bye week.  Tate has caught five more passes and both receivers have over 300 receiving yards.  Jones has 3 TDs to Tate's one.  They were limited to just 71 yards on 5 catches (10 targets) back in week 4 against their division rival.

If you want to avoid that game all together, Chargers WR Keenan Allen vs the Cowboys is a nice matchup.  Despite the fact that Dallas has seen just four WRs go for 70+ yards, they have allowed 13 passing TDs to receivers.  Allen scored his first touchdown (x2) since week 1 against the Bills on Sunday.  It was his first game with double-digit receptions and his third game with 100 yards receiving.  He will likely be one of the most owned players on Thanksgiving, but if you don't want to play Terrence Williams or Tyrell Williams, you will have to pick a popular WR or two.

Dez Bryant could be a nice value play, with players fading him.  Sans Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense looks terrible.  However, Bryant has seen 22 targets in the last two weeks.  Could be well worth the risk if the ownership is low, like we expect it to be!  That being said, the Chargers secondary has been much better as of late, allowing just two touchdowns to WRs since week 6, after allowing 8 TDs to WRs in weeks 1-5.

The New York Giants have allowed some big plays in recent weeks and the Washington Redskins have connected on some big plays in recent weeks.  Josh Doctson is likely to get behind the secondary and his price point, one play could be all that is needed to make them worth having in your DFS lineup.  Jamison Crowder has gone for 70 yards in each of the last three weeks, on 32 targets.  Hopefully all of Chris Thompson's targets go Crowder's way and not towards Ryan Grant!
